DR Secret is a dermatologist skin care treatment series, which uses plant extracts to treat existing skin conditions such as acne scars, pigmentation, dry skin and wrinkles to restore the skin to its former condition. It uses the latest dermatological advancements in its unique formulation of natural ingredients.
DR Secret (english name) is also known as DRs Seager (malay name) and they use the same ingredients
What is Dermatologist Skin Care?
Dermatologist skin care is a high quality skin care that uses dermatological grade ingredients in its formulation to actively treat the skin. It treats common skin problems like: acne, pigmentation, dry skin and sagging skin. The formulation works by renewing skin cells by removing dead skin cells to promote skin healing and regeneration.
Q: Who is DRs Secret and DRs Seager suited for?
DR Secret is suitable for all skin types (including European skin type) for both males and females. It is recommended to be used from 18 years old onwards. For below 18 years old, we recommend not to use T3 Skinlight and T4 Skinrecon.
Our basic skin care (#1 - #5) is recommended for starters. In addition, depending on your skin condition, you can choose from our enhancement series (#6 - #10) to treat your skin.
Who and Why should I use Dermatologist Skin Care?
If you have an existing skin condition you would like to treat, dermatologist skin care is recommended to improve your skin condition till your desired complexion is achieved.
Dermatologist skin care is also effective in maintaining your desired complexion after treatment.
What is the difference between Dermatologist Skin Care and other skin care?
The difference is that normal skin care brands are for the mass market, for mild and normal skin types for regular daily usage for normal skin. For dermatologist skin care, it is for the treatment of existing skin problems such as acne and pigmentation. It is active in skin treatment and works by renewing skin cells. During the first two weeks, reddishness is normal due to increased blood circulation as a result of the treatment program.
Q: What Skin Reactions will I expect after using DR Secret and what should I do?
Depending on your skin condition, you will experience different reactions due to the removal of dead skin cells from underneath the skin is revealed on the surface area. Do continue application during this process.

Q: What is the difference between DR Secret #3 Skinlight and #4 Skinrecon as compared to T3 Skinlight and T4 Skinrecon?
Basically, #3 Skinlight contains Hydroquinone and T3 Skinlight does not contain hydroquinone.
Hydroquinone is a bleaching agent and under the new FDA regulations, the ingredient has been removed and replaced with the new DRs Secret Skinlight T3.
Note: The New T Series is an improved version of the old series and you will not experience as much reactions from your skin during the initial period as the process is being slowed down.
T3 Skinlight has the same whitening effect as the old Skinlight. However, it has been enriched with renewal properties to aid the renewal process. In conclusion, T3 Skinlight is now stronger than T4 Skinrecon.
For T4, it has been toned down. It aids T3 in the renewal process. The effects of T4 has been toned down, however it still performs the same functions as the old Skinrecon.
It is best to mix T3 and T4 together before application for the desirable results.

Q: Does DR Secret Skinlight contain Hydroquinone?
The previous old skinlight #3 does contain hydroquinone. It is possible to continue using the old skinlight.
The new Skinlight T3 has no hydroquinone, due to new FDA government regulations, hydroquinone is banned in off the shelf skin care products.
Q. How long does it take to see results?
After using DR’s Secret (1 set) for around 30 - 90 days, you will be expected to see 50% improvement in your skin. When you complete 2 sets of DR’s Secret, there is could be up to 80% improvement in your skin. For those who are over 40 years of age or have serious skin problems, we recommend continuous usage to maintain your desired complexion.
Q: I have sensitive skin, can i use DR. Secret?
A: Yes, you can use DR’s Secret. It is made from natural ingredients and it is suitable for all skin types.
Q: I have been using DR Secret for two weeks and i am experiencing reddish spots… help!
A: In the initial stages of applying DR Secret, the impurities and dead skin cells are being pushed out of the skin from within, allowing new skin cells to grow. The reactions will last for approximately a month, do apply T3 Skinlight (more: faster reactions less: slower reaction) at the mean time.
Q. Can I apply DR Secret around or near eye area?
It is advisable to avoid applying at the corners of your eyes, nose and mouth as the skin in these areas are thinner and may peel off easily.
Q. Why is it not advisable to use make-up when using DR’s Secret?
Make up contains chemical substances that might harm the skin. Substances like wax and oil in cosmetics will slow down the process of re-construction and re-conditioning. It is advisable to apply a layer of Sunscreen over the skin to prevent make up from seeping into the skin.
Q: I got to know about Dr Secret’s skincare from a friend and colleague. i noticed that for a woman who is in her Mid 40’s, her skin was exceptionally dewy and moist, fair and unblemished. There was no sign of freckles or blemishes expected of a woman in her mid 40’s. She told me that she is using Dr Secret’s skincare. I would like to know more.
A: From your friend’s complexion, she has probably been using DR’s Secret for a couple of years. She looks younger her age as DR’s Secret contains anti aging ingredients. As it works from within, it brings out her skin’s natural glow.

I wonder what the difference between T line and N line. And, my situation is that my face has some spots (brown).
And, I want to buy something to eliminate my spots , but for me buying the whole line is so expensive to me. So, for only eliminating my spots, Which product will be good enough to do that ? Thanks
The T Series is a Treatment Program to fix skin problems.
The N Series is a Maintenance Program to maintain the skin’s current condition.
I would recommend a combination of T3 Skinlight and T4 Skinrecon to be used to lighten the spots. They should be mixed before application. T3 Skinlight lightens the spot while T4 Skinrecon removes dead skin cells underneath the skin.
I would also recommend Sunscreen to be applied in the day, prevention is better than cure! Dark spots are the result of pigmentation in the skin caused by sunlight.

I’m female living in Germany and I’m 46 y.o. I wonder if you could advice me regarding acne scars that I’ve been carrying since 1985. For Acne Scars, I would recommend DRs Secret T Series. T Series is an effective treatment program in regenerating skin cells. Acne scars are old scar tissues (dead skin cells), it can be removed through the skin renewal process. The old skin cells will be pushed out from the skin and new skin cells will merge, giving your skin a natural radiant glow. What is best about this treatment program is that it reveals your natural skin from within! The skin renewal process will take 2 - 3 months. From our experience, at least two sets of DRs Secret T Series to be used for a 6 months period to see better results because it will take more time for old scars to be pushed out of the skin.

You can either use the T Series or N Series depending on the severity of your condition.
Skin flaking occurs due to lack of moisture. It is associated with dehydrated skin. It might be due to dry weather, air conditioning or harsh treatment of the skin. I would recommend that you start applying moisturiser to stop the flaking.
The T(reatment) Series with Moisturiser is suitable for dehydrated skin. I would recommend you to use one or two sets of the T Series with Moisturiser to correct the skin condition before moving to the N Series (maintenance). Read here for information regarding using T Series for Dehydrated Skin.
For the N Series. It is more moisturising for the skin as compared to the T Series. However, it does not correct pre existing skin problems. It is more suitable for skin maintenance. The N Series contains Vitamin C which hydrates the skin. Read more about the N Series here.

Skin pigmentation forms due to exposure to sunlight, in order to prevent pigmentation, it is necessary to apply Sunscreen during the day.
There are no long term solutions to pigmentation, only prevention (through applying sunscreen) and lightening (to be applied at night before sleep).
I would recommend you to start on the DR’s Secret T(reatment) Series Program, it contains Cleanser (Daily Wash), Toner (Refine Skin Texture), Skinlight (for Skin Lightening), Skinrecon (Skin Reconditioning) and Sunscreen (Protect skin against harmful UV rays).

I could also recommend that you take Evening Primose Oil (or Blackcurrant Seed Oil) as your acne breakout is a result of your period. During a woman’s period, there will be hormonal changes in the body that trigger acne, mood swings, and discomfort. Blackcurrant seed oil helps to alleviate the pain from menstrual cramps and also aid skin regeneration. I ‘m a dr.secret user for 4 years. At first my skin really glow (for few months) and its back to normal again like previous. Large pores & pimples.
Please help, i cant change to other products also, will have pimples breakout whenever change. I just want to know is it more effective if i use with Touch or Miraglo? As i have try both T & N series but its seem dont cure my problems (large pores & pimples)

With regular care and skin care maintenance, it is possible for your skin cells to be renewed.

DR’s Secret and DR’s Seagar (Malay name) both the same products and manufacturers.
You can mix the products but it is not recommended to prevent skin allergies.
It is recommended to finish you current skin care before starting on DR’s Secret.
DR’s Secret Touch can be used after the treatment at night for better absorption into the skin.

Hello! I’m using the products of Dr’s secret for 3 days. after first day i applied #4, my face turn red&itch.then the itchiness disappeared, but my face is still red and there is some white substance coming out on my face. As I wash my face, the white thing disappear and some liquid coming out, but after a while, the white things come out again. Hi, Im 18 years old,my skin type is not oily, i have very very little oil, but it is a little dry. I do get pimples all over my face, not severe just your normal case of small ones. the worst it gets is only it becomes red. Other that that, i have very dark eye rings since young and uneven skin tone at my nose, and mouth and chin.I have alot of whiteheads and blackheads which makes my nose look like its full of small bumps.I have something like small little red lines on my cheeks,which is hard to go away. Hi have using basic series last year more or less for 16 months and it does shows good result. then I stop using the product and in the last of 4 months I am having problem with pimples then I decide to use number 1, 5 and 8 at night. and my face getting worst, the pimples is showing more.

Regarding DR Seager or DR Secret dermatologist skin care for severe acne, it takes around 2 - 3 months to have visible results, and we recommend continued application to maintain your skin once you have reached your desired complexion.
During the initial first two weeks of application, dead skin cells such as pimples are pushed to the surface, that might result in more breakouts. During this period, regular daily cleansing is necessary. (think of “detoxing”). After this period, the breakouts might subside over time as your skin regenerates itself using our unique formulation of skin renewal (DR Secret Skinrecon T4).

It takes around 1 - 3 months to see results for DR Secret for Acne, don’t expect immediate results as this is a dermatologist grade product that works from within your skin. Try the refining serum for enlarged pores as well.
We do not sell the original set of DRs Secret has new regulations states that there can be no hydroquinone in our products, hence it has been taken off shelves since 2007.

Hi Im 35yr old female.Ive been using Dr secret product since its launch in yr 2001.I had oily skin,enlarged and open pores,severe acne,blackheads and whietheads with scars.After using 2sets of dr secret,my skin really had a turnover,was so radiant and flawless and people was so amazed that i didnt apply any makeup.But after 4months,my skin went back to square 1.since then, ive been using dr secret religiously till now.Now I understand its a new launch with T and N series.Ive been using the T series on and off for about 3yrs.right now,Im using T1,T3 and T5 morning and nite.Im still having oily skin,occasional blackheads,whiteheads and breakouts(especially around my menses),pitted scars,open and enlarged pores,uneven skin tone and pigments on the cheeks.What can I do to get back my flawless and radiant skin? I do have T4 and refining serum and c15.As im living overseas its difficult for me to purchase dr secret.I also bought the aestier range of products from BWL.the weather here is terribly hot because its near African region,it has low lying houses and is surrounded by forests.Pls advise.This is really making me depressed and is giving me low self esteem.Everytime i meet people I have to wear concealer!
I am a user of Dr Secret’s series, been using it for nearly a yr. recently i’ve just opened a new bottle of T3 skinlight (the orange colored solution). However i found that the color seems to be lighter and more CLOUDY (not very very cloudy, slightly) as compared to my previous T3. I opened up another bottle of T3 to compare and found that the other one has an even lighter color, but seems to be a little more clearer/translucent. I checked my exp date but it states year 2012. I don’t dare to use it yet, fearing it will cause skin problems. Kindly advise.

I’m 14 and I have relatively bad acne/blackhead problems on my face. I have combination skin which tends to lean towards the oily skin type sometimes. I was wondering if I could use your products to get rid of all the blemishes I have on my face as well as get rid of discolouring from scars as well as get rid of any underlying gunk. Which products would you recommend for my age?

It is not recommended for under 18 years old unless you have an existing skin condition.
For your case, its alright to use it as you currently have acne.
The skin treatment would work more effectively only with T3 and T4 for your case of severe acne.

It should be safe to use as DR Secret does not contain any preservative or artificial colouring, hence the discolouration.
We would advise to keep the bottles out of sunlight and heat. Discolouration of the solution occurs due to the tropical humid weather in Singapore.

I read in your website, that we have to switch to maintenance regima after 1-2 weeks using corrective regime. How about ff within that 1-2 weeks using corrective regime we dont achieve what we want, do we stil have to switch to maintenance regime or just stay at corrective regime?

Hi, DR Secret does not provide immediate results. As DRs Secret is made of natural vitamins and plant extracts, it works over time to provide natural results.
We would suggest using Miraglo Face with Cleanser to a maximum of three times a week, if it is used too often, it will agitate the skin.
We would suggest applying more Spot Serum on the affected acne areas to tone down the effects of the breakout, consider applying moisturiser on the affected breakout areas to cool down the areas as well.
Black currant seed oil should be consumed daily for best results if your acne is due to hormonal changes in the body.

I have been using Dr’s Secret since 4 years ago. I used the old version (not the T series) to correct my previous skin problem and I really liked the result.
Then I stopped using the No. 3 and No. 4 product and just using the no. 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7.
Now my skin is getting worse again, it has red spots on the cheek area, also I’ve got pimple marks.
Which products should I use now?
It’s now summer in my place, and I have to go out everyday to work. I think it’s not good to do the corrective regime and expose the skin to the sun light, so I’m afraid to use the no 3 and no 4. Can you give me some advice? Thanks a lot

We would advise Refining Serum (for enlarged scars marks) if you would not like to use T3 and T4.
For best effect, using T3 and T4 is advisable. You could start with lesser amounts of T3 and T4 (2 drops, 1 pump) to start on your corrective regime at the meantime, and increase it gradually to (4 drops, 2 pumps) to improve your complexion.

I’m currently doing the corrective regime. Can I still use the Astier Make up base after Sunscreen (no 5) during the day? Or is it better not to use it?
So this is what I use now:
Day: 1, 2, 5, Astier make up base
Night: 1, 2, T3+T4
